One of the most obvious symptoms of anorexia is the cold that, like an ice hug, catches you and does not let go. Hunger is my story in front of the mirror, a story written since defeat, but full of small victories. A story written from depression, but that defends joy as a non-negotiable right. It is my testimony about a taboo subject, even more so in the case of men, and it was born with the intention of seeking joint solutions where others only offer walls and individual defeats. Toni Mejías, a member of the well-known rap group Los Chikos del Maíz, tells the story of how he has suffered and struggled to control an eating disorder such as anorexia. In it, he reveals his perception of how society, the rhythm of life, new technologies, his own self-esteem and insecurity and many other factors can have a determining role for a young and renowned artist to become immersed in the hell of this sickness.
