It seems that it was yesterday when we began the adventure of publishing a champagne guide in Spanish, with evaluations and scores prepared by a tasting committee made up of recognized experts from different fields, all of them related to the world of wine and from different parts of the city. Spanish geography. It all started in Falset, the capital of Priorat, with the preparation tastings of the 2014 Melendo del Champagne Guide. The project continued with the edition of the guides corresponding to the years 2016-2017 and 2018-2019 and is now consolidated with this, 2020-2021. This guide has already become a reference for professionals and amateurs of what for many is the best wine in the world; It has been recognized by consumers who value the professionalism of the more than thirty professionals who have participated in its production and who have had the courage to face assessing wines blindly; and the respect of a large number of champagne producers, both from the Maisons and the Vignerons, who every two years, regardless of the scores obtained, continue to enthusiastically send us samples of those wines that in most cases represent a tradition started many generations ago. They all have in common the effort to achieve and maintain the highest quality of their products under the umbrella of a region and a wine that deeply unites them.
