Granada

Through their illustrations and texts, Zacarías Cerezo and Blanca Espigares bring us closer to Granada, an incredible and unique city, among the most beautiful in the world, set on a succession of four hills, where learning to look is a sine qua non. Through our travel watercolor we will visit a Granada that, in the words of Blanca Espigares, 'is understood from its territory and that, in a few minutes' walk, takes us into the nature of the Darro or Genil valley, its water, its orchards and its topographical beauty, the very essence of this city'. Organized into 6 chapters by territorial landscape units, rather than by neighbourhoods, in this book 'Zacarías' watercolors convey the presence of the landscape and the importance of this privileged and particular enclave'. Nothing is left out of these pages: the valleys, the hills of the Albaicín, the Sabika with the wonderful citadel of the Alhambra, Mauror and Cervantes, squares, viewpoints, alleys, palaces, convents, cármenes, together with the impressive scenic background from Sierra Nevada.
