Granada: dossier negro (1981-2010)
crímenes que hicieron historia
Girón, César
Granada: Dossier Negro is a compendium of the criminal history of Granada and its province from 1981 to 2010. A book of arduous gestation, not only because of the investigation that its author has had to carry out around events on which, despite being very close in time, the heavy veil that supposes silence, discretion and oblivion that is imposed on criminal events immediately after they occur, has already fallen, but because they are terrible events in which active subjects and agents who They participated in them, as well as many of the collateral victims, they are still present among us. Many of them the reader will meet daily on the street, as happens to César Girón himself. Some of the criminals have settled their accounts with society, but they will never atone for their guilt with the victims. The most rugged and hurtful issues are approached from the most absolute rigor and trying not to harm anyone. This has not prevented the author from expressing his particular opinion in two very specific chapters, "The Exorcism of the Albaicín" and "The last crime in freedom of Hueso Pavo", which is duly differentiated and justified in the text. His opinion in relation to certain aspects of these two events has been given on the basis of direct knowledge of the events, the offenders or their victims, due to his proximity to them.
