Godslayers

The Godslayers significantly decimated Deidolia's army on Celestia, but the cost of victory was too high. Months later, the few rebels who managed to escape the cruel revenge of the empire have taken refuge in the mountains to avoid falling into the hands of Zénit, the last surviving leader of Deidolia. Eris has been imprisoned since the attack on the capital, which nearly killed her. However, she begins to desire it when she discovers that Sona, the girl she is in love with and would destroy cities for, has also survived and been corrupted by the Zenit. After being brainwashed, Sona believes that she is a loyal soldier of Deidolia and Eris' sworn enemy. With the rebellion divided, and Deidolia planning to recruit boys from the Badlands for her new pilot program, the odds have never been so stacked against the Godslayers. Their last hope of winning lies in whether Eris and Sona can somehow recapture the bond that once bound them...
