The Visigothic kingdom of Hispania is one of the most unknown times by the public and least treated at the informative level. And yet it occupies two centuries of our history. It supposed the prolongation and the evolution of the Roman order, the call Late Antiquity in the Peninsula. It was also a time of great turbulence. Abroad it was marked by conflicts with the Eastern Roman Empire and with the Frankish kingdoms of Gaul. Inside, due to the intrigues, the revolts of the nobles, the palatial conspiracies and also due to the struggles with those Hispanics who refused to accept the Gothic hegemony. Godos de Hispania presents the hectic period in an accessible way to the reader. It offers a reading that goes beyond a succession of names of kings and dates of battles, to make understandable the development of all that forgotten time.
