Global

"Global" tells the story of Yuki, a fourteen-year-old Inuit girl living in northern Canada, and Sami, a twelve-year-old boy who has lost his parents in one of the typhoons that hit the coast of Bengal. Both live in difficult circumstances, are victims of the consequences of climate change and try to find out the causes that have triggered the destruction of their natural environments. This search for answers leads them to live unexpected adventures, extreme situations that are the daily life of a part of the world population, and to discover the global consequences of all our actions. Chapter by chapter we will learn about the adventures of the protagonists, we will see how they face the threats, dangers and challenges of climate change and we will discover that, despite the distance, their lives are surprisingly connected.
