Fundamentos de política comparada

This manual investigates the key ideas and questions that make up the discipline of comparative politics: freedom vs. equality and how these ideals are reconciled or balanced. From there, the basic institutions of power are addressed -states, markets, societies, democracies and non-democratic regimes- and are analyzed in detail in the various political systems. The work is conceived in a way that provides the student with the basic tools to understand the political dynamics of the world and is supported by a solid pedagogical structure, with numerous figures, tables, chronologies, lists of key concepts and boxes.
