Formas tradicionales y ciclos cósmicos

Guénon, René

The articles gathered in this book represent perhaps the most "original" aspect -and the most disconcerting for many readers- of René Guénon's work. It could well be titled Fragments of an unknown history, of a history that encompasses protohistory and prehistory insofar as it begins in the primordial tradition contemporary with the birth of present humanity. With fragments destined to remain so in the sense that, without a doubt, it would have been impossible for Guénon himself to present this story continuously and without gaps, since the traditional sources that provided him with the data of said story were probably multiple. They are also fragments in another sense, since only texts not yet incorporated into previous volumes have been collected here, either by Guénon himself or by the compilers of his posthumous books. We believe that these fragments open up so many new horizons for today's Western reader that it would have been unfortunate to leave them hidden away in collections only accessible in a few large public libraries. Controversial topics such as Hyperborea and Atlantis are studied against the prevailing ideas, generally, in the Western scientific world.
