Flores azules
Queneau, Raymond
In 1960s Paris, Cidrolin, an unlikely individual who lives on a boat moored on the Seine, spends his afternoons napping. During his naps, he dreams of the adventures of the Duke d'Auge, a medieval knight who travels through time on the back of a charlatan horse and philosopher. Or is it the Duke d'Auge who dreams of Cidrolin and the vicissitudes of a 20th century man? Unable to discover who is dreaming of whom, we will enter a comic and epic world at the same time capable of causing laughter or causing reflection. Language games, anachronism or quotes allow Raymond Queneau to create a unique scenario on which he questions the meaning of history, ideologies and writing itself.
