Lara lives in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods on the outskirts of Madrid. With great difficulty she studies, works and takes care of Carmen, her grandmother, sick with Alzheimer's and her only family. But she is not alone, her always busy and chaotic life is complemented by Olimpia and Irene, her neighbors and best friends. It will not be until a fortuitous encounter with Saúl, one of the architects planning a series of rehabilitation works in the place, that the past reappears among the rubble and further alters Lara's life. Will she be able to survive what lies ahead?
