Fantasmas
Doña Rosita, anotada ; El autor y la incertidumbre
Remón, Pablo
Fantasmas is Pablo Remón's new book after Abductions (five works). One storyteller, two stories that can be folded and read as one. In Doña Rosita, noted down, the author is commissioned to adapt the work of Federico García Lorca, where the life of a woman who remains single at the beginning of the 20th century in Granada is told. The author doubts: it seems to him that it has nothing to do with him, with his life or with his environment. "Then I thought better of it, actually Lorca talks about the women of his childhood. It seemed to me that I could do the same: the play made me think of the women who raised me: my grandmother, my great-aunts... I ended up talking about my mother, who died when I was a child. " The author and uncertainty, the other panel of this diptych, is also the result of a commission: to write a work on confinement during confinement. A crossroads of which the author gives a testimony away from all sentimentality.
