Estudio para una apoteosis de los ángeles caídos
Sánchez Espeso, Germán
A young Turk, a Saracen, who has been a young man in Istanbul, arrives in a vessel from the Spanish imperial fleet to Cádiz, at a time that may be in the Spanish Golden Age. As soon as he sets foot on the ground, he gains high fame among women due to his enormous ability to give them pleasure. This apparently simple story is connected to the present through an extraordinarily novel way of narrating in two columns: two different spaces and two literary styles of its own, a process in which what was narrated in the past (left column) moves to the narrated in the present (right column), and vice versa: a space-time game of surprising depth, always presided over by humor and love for classical culture.
