There are many manuals that accurately, in-depth, and comprehensively describe the mechanisms that create and maintain the effects of trauma and dissociation on the people who experience it. However, they are complex manuals that do not facilitate an effective and urgent application in the office when a clinician encounters an unexpected situation of rupture with certain parts of the self, either due to the occurrence of an unforeseen trauma, or due to the resurgence of chronic traumatic circumstances that they do not allow to advance in the vital temporal line.
