The discovery of love, sex and friendship during an unforgettable summer. Barcelona, 1989. About to turn sixteen, Víctor sees how Arnau, his best friend, has a serious accident on St. John's Eve and has to undergo emergency surgery. Overwhelmed by the anxiety caused by Arnau's state of health, he reluctantly goes to Valcuerno, the village of his maternal grandfather. It's the first time he's going there to spend the holidays, and his enthusiasm holds him back, but the passion he feels for the Tour de France and the stubbornness of a neighbor with an intriguing past will help him make friends and meet fascinating characters who they will experience unusual situations, completely removed from the tedium they felt in Barcelona. Estiu DLF is the discovery of a new world, an initiatory journey in which the stubbornness to vindicate oneself, to discover love and sex, pushes the protagonist to face the consequences of his actions, to suffer the'afflict of guilt and to restore ties with his family.
