Estética de la recepción

Under the title 'reception aesthetics', this anthology of essays collects various contributions within a research direction that studies the modes and results of the meeting of the work and its recipient. The edited texts belong to the authors of the main orientations of reception aesthetics - some of them unpublished or very little known to the reader in Spanish - and highlight the origins of this 'trend' in the theoretical-literary debates and aesthetics of the twenties. The articulation of more abstractly theoretical texts with others in which analyzes of specific works are carried out makes their reading richer and more complete and highlights the fruitfulness of the aesthetics of reception. The anthology is preceded by a broad introduction by its editor, Rainer Warning, which offers a critical overview of the guidelines collected.
