This Christmas is not going to be easy for Charlie. It is the first time that he faces a celebration after leaving the hospital. His admission and his being the only openly gay member of his family won't help give him what he most desires: peace of mind and inconspicuousness. Things may not turn out the way Charlie hopes, but no matter what, he knows he can always take refuge in Nick, next to him on the couch, while he waits for the storm around him to subside.
