Despite being unanimously considered the first Spanish city in which international countercultural effluvia were strongly felt, Seville still demanded a detailed study that would give historical consistency to said consideration. Through the realization of a hundred interviews with direct protagonists plus an exhaustive newspaper library, the journalist Fran G. Matute has managed to compile a detailed account of the main cultural transgressions that took place in Seville at that time, offering along the way an unequivocal generational portrait of an important part of his youth, in the process of becoming anti-Francoist. This time we come to hit. Avant-gardisms, psychedelias and various subversions (1965-1968) stands as the first major text published on the subject, called to become an unavoidable reference in any future research carried out on countercultural movements in Spain.
