With the death of Pope John Paul II, Rome fills with people ready to say goodbye to him. At the same time, the Vatican is inundated with rumors and alliances as cardinals arrive to prepare for the election of the new pontiff. Despite extreme security measures, two brutal murders will shake the city. To investigate these terrible crimes they call Paola Dicanti, a criminal inspector. However, the security of the Vatican, which aims to hide the deaths, does not stop putting obstacles in their way.
