Shortly after moving to her native Beirut, Camille receives news: her father is dying of pulmonary emphysema. The disease pushes him to return to the place he hates the most in the world: Punta de Mata, a town in eastern Venezuela where his parents emigrated to flee the ravages of the civil war in Lebanon.
