The historical director of the newspaper La Tribuna, Joan Vidal, appears with his throat cut and with brutal signs of torture in the trunk of a loved car. This will be the first of a series of murders that will oust the top management of the Catalan newspaper of reference and that seek to uncover a scandal that, if it were to see the public light, would forever change the relationship between power and the media. Ernesto Makaroff, a skilled journalist resentful of La Tribuna, and sergeant Bruna Cros will investigate against the clock to unmask a network of blackmails, silences and deaths that hide the darkest sides of power and journalism. How far is power able to reach when it sees its privileges in danger?
