Els insubmisos del mar
Premi Nèstor Luján de Novel·la Històrica 2021
Tubella i Casadevall, Imma
Antoni Ferragut i Guitard, father and grandfather of two heroes of the independence of the United States, originally from the old town of Sineu, in Mallorca, was turned upside down on the day that a prestigious English journalist and writer, Daniel Defoe, visited the island of Mallorca. He mentioned a colony of pirates in northern Madagascar where the most absolute democracy prevailed, Libertalia, and Toni, still a teenager but attracted by the idea of knowing the world, embarked in late September 1716 with the Mr. Defoe to Madagascar. The colony honored the myth that surrounded it: a community of hopeful men and women who enjoyed the same rights and freedoms and whose goal was to liberate territories and people from any yoke.
