El yihadismo
claves de un fanatismo global
Martín de Pozuelo, Eduardo
Yitzhak, Eduard
This book is about a fanaticized movement that we know as jihad, its worldview, its inevitable relationship with Islam and its incompatibility with any other model of society that is not exactly the one that emanates from its own interpretation of life, from death and beyond. Jihad is a war with a terrorist aspect that affects all the inhabitants of the planet. Its philosophical basis is ancient, powerful, and very well built. That is why it is a great mistake (sometimes it seems suggested or intended) to suppose that the jihadist is moved by money or that he arises from poverty and ignorance or that he is a maddened misfit. It is not like this. From his reality, the jihadist knows very well what he wants and is convinced that in order to achieve the objective that he pursues it is necessary to destroy any deviation from the one marked by his own ideology, starting with the Muslims whom he judges deviant. And it is that jihadist terrorism, the wars that he promotes and the conflicts that he leads are of a religious nature. Clearly and unmistakably religious. Ignoring the reasons why a jihadist lives, kills and dies is not an option. That is why this work delves into how, when and why this extreme religious current originated, who are its followers, how they behave and where they announce they are heading.
