El vuelo de Ícaro

El vuelo de Ícaro

Schneiderhan, Caitlin

Hawkins, Indiana, is to most people a simple and idyllic town. But for Eddie Munson, living there is like being trapped in a perpetual Tomb of Horrors. Luckily, in a few months he will be able to say that he has survived high school... And what has the last year meant to him, really, apart from killing time between Dungeons & Dragons sessions and rehearsals with his band ? It's in the worst club in town where Eddie meets Paige, someone who has worked a fucking miracle: she escaped from Hawkins and has had a great time working for a music producer in Los Angeles. Not only is she the definition of a tough chick (with brutal music taste), but she may be the only one who sees Eddie as the bard she really is instead of the devil incarnate. Paige offers her the opportunity to make a future for herself, and all she needs to achieve it is to make a demo of Ataud Carcomido's best songs. However: recording costs money. And that's precisely something Eddie doesn't have, although he's willing to do anything to get it...even trusting his old man, Al Munson, who has just reappeared with another shady deal up his sleeve. He is risky, but it is his only option if he wants to get the money in time and, thus, get a one-way ticket out of Hawkins. Eddie is sure: 1984 is going to be his year.
