This novel reflects on the archetypes and role models that modernity itself creates. Models based on superficiality in relationships and feelings, the expiration of beliefs. A paradigm fueled by mass consumption, materialism, self-centeredness and the atomization of the individual. A human being who feels crushed by the future, by the speed in which the news materialize and evaporate, by the evanescence of the commitments and the ties of solidarity that we build. We are all clients and potential consumers out of nowhere. And that "trifle" is what serves us, in many cases, as a benchmark for social success.
