El universo en un bit

Throughout our entire lives we accumulate information, from the moment we are conceived until we die and disappear. An accelerated process today thanks to computer devices. We transmit in life the information contained in the DNA molecules, through reproduction. After death, we release, through the processes of organic and chemical decomposition, the information hidden by the rest of our molecules. There are even those who believe that intimate information, stored in our consciousness, is not scattered chaotically, but will be preserved in the universe, in some quantum format still unknown to science. Living beings are entities that generate information. For this reason, some prominent physicists advance the hypothesis that the essential function of life, the reason for our existence, is probably to contribute to the maintenance of the informational wealth of the universe.
