In the Main Sacristy of the Cathedral of Seville a work as extraordinary as it is unknown is preserved. Its entrance arch, executed between 1533 and 1535, contains sixty-eight dishes with food carefully sculpted in stone, a reflection of the gastronomic reality of the moment and a rich symbolic universe.
