El último verano antes de todo
Linares, Jota
Ismael, a film director in low hours, returns to his town in the Sierra de Cádiz to accompany his mother, who is living her last days. As he processes the pain alongside his family and a homeless cat, he discovers that something strange is lurking behind the famous swamp murder eighteen years ago. There is always a summer that changes everything, and that was the one in Laguna: the summer of the dead; the same one that separated him from his friends Natalia, Raúl and Zapata, a gang that lost their dreams after those stormy vacations. Growing up means surviving between mysteries and disappointments. Ismael will start a battle against himself to rebuild that past of broken lights, which perhaps did not happen as he remembers. Gone is adolescence, it is time to seek the truth about her mother and the life she gave up for love of her children.
