¿El último Papa de Occidente?

Joseph Ratzinger has been, as Meotti describes him, a colossus, finally 'defeated' in his efforts to save Western civilization, but one who has left behind the codes that may still allow humanity to fix things. He has seen the breakdown and described it with a clarity that no one else has ever achieved, specifying the antidote for it as well. After offering himself as a living shield against secularization, relativism, Islamization, and creeping nihilism, he finally felt compelled to back down, when danger reached its worst.
