In 2951, in Persia, a group of travelers crosses the ocean to find the remains of an ancient great nation, Merhika, the vanished American continent. Crossing the ruins of Nhu-Yok and Wash-yn-tun, the explorers are commenting and comparing the Persian society with the lost American society; a society that was obsessed with pleasure and money, and which suddenly disappeared as a result of the dire climatic changes that swept the country.
