El Teatro Español de Madrid

This book aims to be an easily accessible place for the history of the Spanish Theatre, an emblematic space in Europe and whose history is so extensive that it surprises even those specialists who, knowing it well, immerse themselves in it again in search of new data or little-known episodes. It is also the first publication dedicated to offering a complete history of the Theatre, from its origins as the Corral del Príncipe in the last quarter of the 16th century to the present, for which it presents a total of thirteen chapters (plus the presentation ) by thirteen renowned researchers in the theatrical and literary history of our country.
