For Lale, the days pass between horror and his work as a prisoner tattoo artist. Among these prisoners is Gita, a young woman with whom he falls in love. At that time, Lale's life will take on a new meaning and will do everything possible for Gita and the other prisoners to survive. After the war, they decide to move to Australia so they can start again. After Gita's death, Lale feels the weight of her past and the irreparable need to tell it. This is his story.
