In 1969, due to the growing success of the Mortadelo and Filemón series, the publisher Bruguera commissioned Ibáñez to write the first long adventure of the famous agents. Francisco Ibáñez created a comic with a very careful drawing and script, which would go down in the history of our comic, being considered by many as Ibáñez's masterpiece. With more than fifty years since its publication, El sulfato atomic is an icon and one of the masterpieces of comics, recognized internationally.
