El sintonizador
Ordóñez, José Luis
Madrid, 1837. The writer Mariano José de Larra lives in anxiety caused by his country and love. Despite everything, he still has some time to have brief encounters with young aspiring writers ... unaware that, perhaps, they are about to open a door to the dark. Cantabrian coast, present. Ricardo Rivas, an octogenarian and successful writer who is nicknamed the Duke of Letters, receives the unexpected visit of his daughter Elena, a top-level scientist, on a stormy night. It is a meeting full of memories of the past, nostalgia and where the desire floats to meet more frequently. But it is not the only reason for Elena's visit. In reality, she brings with her her new invention, the result of many years of work, a device capable of exploring dark and macabre areas of the past. And that, also, could give birth to the last days in the life of Mariano José de Larra. Something, in short, capable of causing great changes in history.
