Sara and Wen, also the protagonist of the novel Predadores de silencio, try to find detective Lucía on this occasion. They discover that she was investigating a trafficking network of African women forced into prostitution and her disappearance may be related to the case. They will try to locate the detective, while putting her life in danger to help the exploited young women.
