El secreto de Matilda

Southern Sweden, 1931. Matilda has just lost her mother when the imposing Countess Agneta Lejongard shows up at her school. The woman announces that she is her legal guardian and takes her to her farm. The size of the property and the splendid manor house intimidate Matilda and, as if that weren't enough, the countess's children make her feel out of place. However, there is an ancient promise that Agneta, although she is the only one who knows it, must fulfill. As a new war threatens Europe, in Lejongard old traditions are broken and Matilda must seek her own path to find her long-awaited happiness.
