The secret of Enola, set in 1989 in Sandgate, a small coastal town in England, brings together three elements as disparate as a fireplace, a pigeon and a boy nicknamed Socks. While carrying out the task that his neighbor has assigned him, that boy, Ralph, comes face to face with an enigma that has been waiting for years to be found. To solve it, he will ask his friend Margaret for help, but they soon discover that they have before them not one secret but two.
