1889, Devonshire, North West England. Sir Charles Baskerville's body is discovered on a path by his house. When Sherlock Holmes goes to solve the mystery, he sees that what seemed like a simple crime hides a curse that goes back centuries: since Sir Charles's ancestor, Hugh of Baskerville, was killed by a giant dog, the death of his descendants has been preceded by the appearance of a demon-possessed hound. And, indeed, the tracks of a huge animal appear next to the body of Sir Charles. What is behind the legend of the Baskervilles?
