El Robinson urbano
Muñoz Molina, Antonio (1956- )
Originally published in Granada in a poorly distributed edition in 1984, The Urban Robinson is the first book by Antonio Muñoz Molina, in which he already shows in full bloom the characteristic features of his style and his vision of the world. The book brings together some of his first texts published in Diario de Granada and forms a chronicle of everyday citizen life where the Andalusian capital is reminiscent of Baudelaire's Paris, Gómez de la Serna's Madrid or Loca's New York. Thus, "this diary of Granada entries [...] is the siege and finally the taking of a city for the catalog of imaginary and real cities that literature founds with words".
