Ice princess Stella Copodstar and her father Felix are in big trouble: they've been kicked out of the Polar Bear Explorers Club and banned from further expeditions. However, Stella doesn't have time to abide by rules and regulations. Shay's life is in danger after being attacked by a direwolf in her last adventure, and she can only save a spell described in the Book of Frost. Our heroine is willing to do anything to find the specimen, including crossing the Black Ice Bridge, a haunted territory from which no explorer has returned. On this daring expedition, the four friends must show more courage than ever before, encountering gargoyles, sea gremlins, mermaids, giant red squid, and even a knight flamingo!
