Barcelona, autumn 1898. A young Swiss man, Hans Gamper, arrives by train at France station. For the first time in a long time he feels happy. The city is buzzing with activity and as he has found a job as an accountant, he has decided to stay. Only one thing is missing: sport. He was a football champion in Switzerland. But this new English practice, so fashionable in Europe, has not yet materialized in Barcelona. But Gamper's enthusiasm and determination to form a good team, and even found a club, knows no bounds. And in November 1899 the Foot-Ball Club Barcelona was formed. More than a club, a space of freedom and democracy, with a diverse and civic spirit, where people from all over express themselves freely and where everyone feels Barcelonan. A club that over time has managed to condense the dreams, hopes, tensions and disappointments of an entire country.
