Goyo is a writer with a complicated family past. He is immersed in the process of writing a new novel, based on the story of his family, when Lara, his wife, decides to leave him. This leaves him completely devastated, and in an attempt to escape, he embarks on a trip to France with Anton, his father, a self-made man who became very rich by smuggling and who has never managed to connect with his son. Together, without knowing exactly why, they go to look for their uncle Thomas, who left for France thirty years ago and has not spoken to the family since. What happened because the two brothers, who had been inseparable, would they stop talking to each other? Goyo will embark on this journey, which is physical but also emotional, which will lead him to discover terrible secrets of the past and present and to know the truth about his father and also about himself.
