This book tells the story of the dominant thought, white thought, its origin and operation, its way of dividing and how it spread throughout the world until it became universal and polluted the air we breathe. For centuries, the dominant thought has been the norm, the fossilization of hierarchies, the scheme of domination that is imposed on us, so that whites and non-whites know how they should act and what is the place of each one. The same is true of the broad dominance of men over women, it is deeply embedded in our mentalities and acts every day. Only your questioning will allow us to move on to another mental scheme and change the society in which we live. It is not about blaming or accusing, but about understanding its mechanisms and becoming aware in order to build new solidarities.
