El país de los niños perdidos

Where do the children we once were go? Do they take refuge in forgotten places in the world to which, no matter how hard we try, we will not be able to return?. This book talks about places like this, but also about a pond where the invisible friends of real children hide, about a cliff where a mysterious being continues to preserve, like Peter Pan, his bird nature, about an island inhabited by babies who refuse to be born because they consider it humiliating that their mothers have to change their diapers, of a forest inhabited by little green men who blend in with the vegetation and who know the secret of happiness. Gabriel, the protagonist of this book, is a boy who loves to listen to the stories his mother tells him at bedtime. One night, the dragon from one of those stories will appear in his dreams and will take him to see all these places. The Land of Lost Boys teaches us that we should not keep the real world separate from the fantasy world. Reality needs fantasy to become desirable; the fantasy of the real to be able to share with the people we love.
