A character loses the final point that will allow him to finish the story he lived with his partner; a man suffers the virtual vampirization of a woman, whom she must carry on his back and ends up sticking to him like a scab; other protagonists, sick with loneliness, use the doors as confidants, send letters that never receive a response, shout for help in memory of past glorious times... The stories that make up this volume expose with acid irony the frustrated efforts and hopes of contemporary men, inhabitants of artificial and alienating cities, in which they have been trapped by the forces of political repression, social conventions, routine or their own neuroses.
