El mundo del sake

todo lo que necesitas saber para introducirte en la bebida de moda

Sasayama, Mayuko

Maybe some of you have a bad experience related to the most idiosyncratic drink of my country, Japan: sake, especially when you tried it for the first time. It happened to me too. Until very recently, the prevailing image of sake in Japan was that it was a rather strong and dry alcoholic beverage. Many of us thought that it was nothing more than a distillate intended for older people and those who wanted to drink a strong alcoholic drink. But one day I went to an izakaya (Japanese tavern) where they offered me to try a sake that was delicious. It had nothing to do with the one I knew. It was a delicate drink, silky and full of nuances. It can be said that from that day on, that elixir changed my life. I just fell in love with him. And you also have to know that the diversity of sakes is vast. We all know people who don't like blue cheese, but that doesn't mean they don't like cheese in general, or that they're attracted to fresh cheese, but not cured Manchego, right? Well, this also happens in the world of sake. Even if one in particular did not taste good to you, it does not mean that you cannot like sake as a whole. You didn't like a certain sake you've tried, but you can be excited about any other.
