El misterio de la luna creciente
Williams, Valentine
The Great War left deep wounds in soldier Peter Blakeney, now a playwright in search of inspiration. When some wealthy friends offer him to spend time in the mountains to pursue writing, he accepts. In the group of guests, two beautiful young women stand out: Graziella, unhappily married to Victor and for whom Peter feels an unrequited passion; and Sara, too flirtatious for the jealous character of her boyfriend Dave of her. Between playing tennis and bridge, swimming in the lake and riding a horse, Peter's writing is progressing. However, after a tense evening, one of the guests dies. It seems a suicide, although no one manages to elucidate the reasons. On the other hand, the English investigator Trevor Dene, on vacation in the area and invited by the sheriff to lend a hand, is convinced that it is a murder. And if it is fate that, legendarily, is written in the stars, the solution to the case seems rather to be found under the influence of the moon...
