El mar de Camus
Jaramillo, Mario
Camus was clandestinely in Menorca. He toured the island, met the owner of a grocery store that sold from rum to newspapers, lived an affair with a woman who seemed elevated by the Tramontana, investigated a crime and threaded his republican soul. He dived between words and navigated the trails of happiness, the absurd, lucidity, death, love and noon. He found his roots by walking the streets his grandmother had walked on and clearing the graves of his ancestors of leaves. No trace of his footsteps remained. Nothing. Except in the novel The Sea by Camus.
