In November 2017, after years of coming and going, cancer ended the life of journalist Margarita Serrano. Devastated, her sister Marcela found in the peasant retreat and in writing the only way to cope with confusion, sadness and anger. This state of emotional exception is what is at the base of these pages that, as the days went by, the author was weaving like a cloak to cover her sister and those who after her death were left in the open. The result of that courage are the exciting, sad and at the same time luminous notes - discontinuous like the duel itself - that Marcela Serrano gathered with lucidity and courage throughout the year that followed the death of "la M", a year that had a lot of of confinements and memories, some music and no self-pity. The mantle is her most personal book.
