From the mid-19th century to the present day, the feminist movement in Catalonia has had great figures such as Dolors Monserdà, Teresa Claramunt, Frederica Montseny, Aurora Bertrana, Anna Murià, Maria Aurèlia Capmany or Maria Mercè Marçal. El llarg viatge de les dones includes the basic texts of thirty-three women, some very little known, who, since the late nineteenth and throughout the twentieth century, have supported feminism in Catalonia with their views. With a strong position, their reflections at different times of history have made a turning point in the creation of a collective consciousness in favor of the rights of women in our country.
